Hexanediol

A glycol compound, Hexanediol is a solvent commonly used in cleansing products, bath products, baby products, hair care products and skin care products. It is often used as a delivery agent, improving the coverage and skin penetration of nutrients in a given cosmetic. It is quickly absorbed, and is neither a skin irritant or a sensitising agent.
