Guar Gum

Gaur known as a cluster bean is mainly grown in India. Ideal as a multipurpose thickening agent, viscosity modifier, and foam stabilizer for thickening solutions and lotions. It also can enhance the skin's resistance to irritations caused by chemical detergent, and soften skin surface with a smooth feel. Guar gum or its derivatives are used in skin care industries as gelling /viscosifying / thickening, suspension, stabilization, emulsification, preservation, water retention / water phase control,  and binding.
