Fructose

Often called fruit sugar, fructose is a type of sugar composed of glucose. It has water-binding properties for skin.  Sucrose, fructose and glucose are all natural and all have hygroscopic properties, meaning they attract and retain moisture. In Skin Care products it acts as a natural exfoliator, beneficial in blemish control and helps to restore balance of the skins natural oils. The natural glycolic acid in sugar not only helps condition and moisturize skin, but protects it from pollutants and toxins.
