Bioflavonoids Naturally found throughout the plant kingdom. Clinical studies have demonstrated that bioflavonoids reduce edema which is partly ascribed to a protective effect on the capillary endothelium and partly to an improved velocity and volume of blood flow. Hence one can say, bioflavonoids help reduce inflammatory edema while stimulating circulation.

These antioxidant vitamins were discovered in 1930 by Hungarian doctor Albert Szent-Gyorgy(Nobel prize)who called them "vitamin P". They work better in company of vitamin C, and together protect collagen and elastine. Due to their antioxidant power they protect theskin from free radical damage, improving cellular activity. They also help to synthesize collagen and elastine fibres, which give the skin elasticity and firmness and helps to reduce the damage caused by the sun.
