Malic Acid

Malic acid can be found naturally in a variety of fruits and vegetables. One of the most abundant natural sources is apples and that’s why sometimes it’s called apple acid. Malic Acid is classified as an "alpha hydroxy acid". Alpha hyroxy acids are fruit acids with an ability to help exfoliate the skin and act as mild chemical face peels.
